Congratulations on receiving your new virtual card! Before proceeding, you may want to go through the following articles to get a better grasp of what are virtual cards and how do they differ from your physical card:

  2. When does it expire?
  3. Can I edit the details registered on the card?
  4. Can I transfer out the funds?
  5. Can I use the funds on the card for gambling?
Now that you have a better understanding of what a virtual card is, let's go through the process of obtaining your virtual card.

Card Activation

Note that depending on your issuer, you may be presented with a different set of fields when trying to activate your card:

Example 1
  1. First Name
  2. Last Name
  3. Email Address
  4. Postal Code
Example 2
  1. First Name
  2. Last Name
  3. Passcode
  4. Email Address

It is advisable to use the Virtual Card Redemption email as your point of reference when entering the required information. The card redemption portal is case sensitive, and the emails are typically automatically generated based on the information in the system for your card. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the details you input, such as your first and last name, match exactly as displayed in the Virtual Card Redemption email.

For Example 1, please note that some issuing companies may prefer to set the postal code to their company's address. In case you encounter any difficulties while redeeming your virtual card, it is recommended to contact the issuing company for confirmation.

Terms and Conditions

Before you are presented with your card details, you will be presented with a copy of the cardholder agreement for your virtual card. It is important that you go through this agreement in its entirety as it the clause laid out within them is considered binding once you proceed. They also explain the fees associated with your card, how they can be used etc.
We recommend that you save a this agreement so that you may refer to it at a later date.

Card Presentment

Upon reaching this stage, you will be presented with all your virtual card details, which includes the actual card number, expiry date and CVV. We must stress that you save this information for safekeeping. Please take your time if need be as once this page is closed, you will not be able to re-redeem the link to regain access to the card.

Card Registration (Optional)

You'll notice that you're also presented with the option to register your card. This is largely optional but very useful as doing so will allow you to monitor the card balance and view your transaction history.
