What if I would like to purchase something that costs more than the remaining balance on my Prepaid card?

If you know the balance on your Prepaid card, inform the cashier that you would like to pay that sum of money from your Prepaid card and the remaining balance from a different debit or credit card. Without telling the cashier you would like to use two different forms of payment, the transaction will be declined for a lack of funds. You can also pair your Prepaid cards with cash or a different Prepaid card.
Not all merchant support this payment method. Be sure to confirm with the cashier if splitting your transaction is possible
Still notice that your card is declining despite having enough funds to cover the transaction? Have a look at our card declined article as well.
